Our in house scheduling department organizes aspiring musicians of all ages together to form real bands and ensembles for the unique experience of playing music with others. Grouped by age, ability, and musical preference, these classes meet one time per week for one hour and are led by an Academy master instructor. Focus topics include; team work, stage presence, performance preparation, band/ensemble etiquette, and equipment preparation. Band and ensemble classes culminate in a free quarterly performance.
The excitement of playing music with others is realized first hand in our pre-band and ensemble workshops. Students with no previous experience playing in a band or ensemble learn how to jam with other students. These classes meet one time per week for one hour and are taught by an Academy master instructor. Topics include team work, listening skills and band and ensemble preparedness.
